March Student of the Month

Congratulations

Garret is a major in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base and pilots the A-10
“warthog” jet fighter. Garret has quickly earned his gold belt in Isshinryu and has an extensive
background in studying Martial Arts.


His father lived and worked in Hong Kong while Garret was in high school and Garret studied Kung
Fu and Aikido under Sifu Pak for 3 years. He also studied MMA under one of Bruce Lee’s original
students. He has studied Military unarmed combat while in the military. Garret’s son, Hyrum, also
takes lessons at Kennedy’s Karate USA with his dad and is an orange belt.
